Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore was born on January 29, 1970 in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, India is proud of its award-winning repertoire and achievements. He was also the member of the winning team that won the gold medal for the country in the double trap event at the Commonwealth Championships in Melbourne in 2005. He has also played at the international level. He was honored with the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal. In fact, he was also the first Indian Army officer to be awarded the AVSM despite the fact that he did not hold a rank of brigadier.

Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore Career

Colonel Rajvardhan Singh Rathore is a politician and a former professional shooter from India. He graduated from the National Defense Academy and joined the Indian Military Academy. There he won the Sikh Regiment gold medal for the best sportsman of the course. He also received the sword of honor at the Indian Military Academy for the best caddy all around Gentleman. Following this, he was commissioned in the 9th Grenadiers Regiment. In his shooting career, he won a gold medal at the 2002 Commonwealth Games in Manchester, where he also set a record 192 out of 200 targets. He successfully defended the medal at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne. . He also won two gold medals at the world shooting championships in 2004 and 2006.
