Zlatan was born in 1981 in Malmö, Sweden. He received his first pair of football boots at the age of five and it was obvious even at this young age that he had the potential to become an extraordinary footballer. He grew up in the infamous Rosengård district known as one of Sweden's most difficult areas, but that did not stop him. After playing for a local Swedish club for a few years, he was transferred to Malmö FF as a teenager, and that's when he started a professional football career. Zlatan progressed in the Malmö FF youth academy and his breakthrough at senior level During the 1999-2000 season, he played for the first Malmö FF team under coach Roland Andersson. Zlatan surprised Sweden with superb technique and great scoring ability. As a determined 18-year-old, he had already decided to play for Sweden at the 2002 World Cup in Japan and Korea.

Zlatan Ibrahimović Career

Zlatan Ibrahimovic's skills quickly made him a rising national level player and earned him the chance to represent Sweden, Bosnia, Croatia or Herzegovina at the international level, but he decided to go with the Sweden. In 2001, he made his debut as an international player in a friendly against the Faroe Islands, which ended in a draw. Later that year, he scored his first international goal against Azerbaijan in a World Cup qualifier, helping his team to a 3-0 victory .Ibrahimovic was part of the Swedish National Cup team of the world 2002, where the team was eliminated. Ibrahimovic has become a national football hero by scoring three goals for Sweden in the 2004 UEFA European League qualifiers.
